Metal deposition on a polymer film brings numerous kinds of composite films. These films are often prepared by vacuum evaporation, sputtering, chemical vapor deposition, and metal paste deposition. Such processes typically require reduced pressure environment or relatively high calcine temperature those limit mass production of the above mentioned films in a low cost. By contrast, elelctroless plating only needs a plating bath containing reducing agents. The latter method was said to produce a heterogeneity film with poor adhesion compared to other metal deposition methods. Recently, it was said there were many kinds of composite materials that containing a catalyst, which improves plating adhesion property. As a result, one could plate mono layer or multilayer metals with different thicknesses on the surface of electroless plating using electroplating method. These heterogeneity alloy films exhibits excellent mechanic, magnetic, and electronic properties.
