Passive welding glasses are always dark.
Active welding filters, on the other hand, offer the great advantage that they only darken when a welding arc is struck. No more need to flip the helmet up and down! Both hands are free, thus increasing quality, safety and especially productivity. This very comfortable welding helmet is fitted with a Shine variable welding filter. The welding filter automatically switch shade and in the dark state adjustable between DIN 9 and DIN 13.
Next to the optical sensor a magnetic sensor enables a high-speed switching time between the light and dark state. Even weak welding arcs can be detected in this way. The Shine welding filters are compatible with almost all conventional automatic welding helmets. The welding filters are available as fixed shade, variable shade, variable shade with magnetic sensor.
