Tempered safety glass for vehicles has a special safety qualification. When broken, its fragment is not sharp like normal glass. It will break into pieces as small as corn seeds. This is the standard of the automobile industry. Tempered safety glass can be used in car doors, side mirrors, windscreens, bus windows, slidable windows for sunroofs and fiberglass canopies. It can also be used in other ways to suit customer requirements. Zone tempered safety glass -
Zone tempered safety glass is used for car and truck windscreens. It has a special safety qualification of breaking as tempered safety glass but with bigger pieces of glass fragments. This will enable drivers to see the road in an emergency. Laminated safety glass -
Multi-layer laminated safety glass consists of two or more pieces of glass joined together. It has very strong pvb film to help to hold the glass together in case of breakage. This will enable drivers to see the road in an emergency. Laminated safety glass is suitable for windscreens and windows of cars, buses, ships and trains
