Basic fittings threads are joining threads, where ISO 7-1 applies. International threads are parallel (Rp) and external threads are 1:16 taper(R). Threads which are fastening threads according to ISO 228/1, are marked with G on the symbol Picture.Fittings are provided in black or hot dip galvanized finish, covered with a preservative for temporary prevention of rust film. The zinc coating is not less than 500gr/m2 which corresponds to a medium layer thickness of 70 microns.
