With over 40 die cast machines ranging in size from 5 tons to 650 tons, Production Castings has the ability and experience to produce everything from high speed miniature zinc castings to large aluminum castings weighing up to 8 pounds. Production castings utilizes some of the latest shot monitoring technology and robotics to achieve unsurpased quality and productivity. As support for our die casting operations, Production Castings has its own modern tool and die shop with 14 moldmakers and 3 die designers that use the latest modeling software from Solidworks and Mastercam. Through the use of automation and increased efficiencies, our tooling prices are very competitive. Production Castings currently designs and builds 95% of our customers tools. Should you find a tooling source that is less expensive, Production Castings has a team of designers and engineers that will work with outside die builders to assure that the dies you are having made will work for us and also meet your quality expectations. Production Castings also offers our customers value added services such as precision machining and finishing of die castings as well as performing sub assembly work. Production Castings has a complete CNC department, with 14 CNC machines, A robotic and manual spray powder coating line designed specifically for painting zinc and aluminum die castings. Production Castings also has it's own "wet" paint booth and a complete plating facility that performs everything from chromate conversions to chrome plating. Production Castings has aquired numerous quality and service awards over the years and achieved ISO9001:2000 registration in 2001.
