Each colour has already passed the original Australian / New Zealand UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) standard no: AS / NZS 4399. 1996.
3. Each fabric rates 50 + UPF. This is the maximum rating possible for anti sun burn fabric, blocking 98% of the harmful UVA and UVB rays.
4. At last Europe and the UK are also realising the importance of sun safety, and we now have a European standard EN 13758-2. Enabling consumers to choose garments which clearly carry the official standard number and rating.
