Floor heating cables (FHC) are designed for installation in new homes, outdoors for driveways, parking lots, gutters, snow melting on roofs. They are aptly suited for large areas, indoors and out doors like green houses, sports fields or factories.
CONSTRUCTION
FHC comprise of multistrand or coiled heating elements, provided with a primary insulation of fluoropolymer, then metal shielding and secondary insulation of PVC. They terminate on cold leads of 2. 5m length.
Single conductor cables (FHCS) have about 4. 0mm final outer diameter and have cold leads on both ends, while twin conductor cables (FHCT) have about 5. 3mm final outer diameter and have cold leads at one end.
