In January 2006, Weil-McLain acquired the former Sino-Japanese JV Taishan Maeda Boiler Co., Ltd. (founded in 1996 with registered capital of USD10 million). The new acquisition became Weil-Mclain (Shandong) Cast-Iron-Boiler Co., Ltd. (WMSD).
WMSD covers an area of 26,680 square meters with approximate 200 employees and is located in Tai'an of Shandong Province of China. Utilizing foundry, machining line and sand line, our production capacity is 12,000T/Year.
WMSD currently manufactures:
1) Cast iron boilers and various kinds of castings.
2) Oil/gas fired boilers for commercial space-heating application.
First class products are produced with world class technology. WMSD introduces advanced technology and solid foundation for high-quality products from Weil-McLain, America and Maeda, Japan.
WMSD is the only export base of cast iron-boilers in China. WMSD quality system is certified to meet international standards of ISO9001. Our boilers are certified to meet ASME, H-stamp Code Section IV parts HG and HC for the fabrication of Heating Boilers Cast Iron Sections constructed from Gary Iron Castings. Boilers exported to North America under H-Stamp certification are exempted from inspection.
WMSD has a solid reputation in international markets and has successfully exported boilers for over ten years to the UK, Japan, North America and Spain. WMSD foundry is state of the art and strives for continuous improvement.
