Mr. Yap Booi Lek commenced his business by setting up Ban Fatt Lorry at Jalan Dato, Ipoh, a sole proprietorship firm in trading used lorries. 1972 - 78
Initially he established contacts in Singapore and began the business by importing used trucks(Mercedes) from Europe. Soon after that, he got the same business from Japan. During 1972-73, he then ventured into assembling imported components for used trucks. In order to expand the business, he later purchased a two(2) acres of land at Jalan Kuala Kangsar, Ipoh, in which he built a double storey building comprising of office, workshop and showroom. Thus, the business grew together with his experience and knowledge. 1979
Due to increasing volume of imports and sales especially heavy equipment and machinery, B&F Trading Co. Limited was incorporated. B&F has imported the full range of used heavy equipment, machinery and commercial vehicles from Japan, Europe, USA and Canada. These machines are then reconditioned at B&F's workshop for Malaysian market and export. B&F's market extended throughout the whole Malaysian and also to some Asian countries, Taiwan, Mauritius and Middle East. 1982
Pan Euro-Asia Tours Corporation Sdn. Bhd. Was set up under the tours and travel division of B&F group of companies. The business are inbound and outbound tours, to and from all over the world, ticketing service and other related services. The company has achieved numerous Million Dollars Awards from various airlines and also become recognized as the most popular tour operator in the State of Perak. 1986
B&F was invited by its business associates in China to explore actively the possibility of distributing Chinese agricultural machinery in Malaysia. As a result, B&F was awarded as the sole distributorship for the Jialian Combine Harvesters and Feng Shou Tractors. 1991
B&F has moved its main operations from Jalan Kuala Kangsar to Jalan Gopeng, Ipoh, which comprising of six and a half(6.5) acres. 1999
B&F ventured in housing development project in which Taman Badri Shah Baru in Ipoh was launched. 2002
B&F was appointed by Changlin Company Limited as sole distributor for Changlin's series of brand new construction machinery in Malaysia, South East Asia and Middle East. 2003
B&F launched its second development project comprising of a 2& 3 storey shop office known as Medan Pulai Business Centre at a newly growth interception of Cameron Highlands, Tapah, Simpang Pulai and Lumut. 2004
Changlin Machinery(M) Sdn. Bhd. Was incorporated. This company is incorporated to assemble a series of Changlin's brand new construction machinery of wheel loaders, motor graders and vibratory rollers locally.
